The PRP treatment is a simple and time-efficient procedure, much like having a routine blood draw. During the process, around 30–60 ml of blood is taken from the patient’s arm and placed into a special tube. This tube is then inserted into a centrifuge, where the blood is spun at high speed to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the other blood components.
Once the targeted area is numbed, the concentrated plasma is carefully injected into the hand, whether to address wrinkles, arthritis, or a damaged tendon. Since PRP is a non-surgical treatment, patients can usually return to their normal activities with minimal downtime.
